Cornish Pilot Gigs taking part in the World Pilot Gig Championship on the Isles of Scilly including ‘Torrent’ built in 2006 by Peter Williams of Bodinnick, 'Ginette' built in 2004 by Brian Nobbs of Launceston, ‘Dall Lewyer’ built in 2003 for the Cornish Blind Association by Ralph Bird of Devoran, ‘Rival’ built in 1989 also by Ralph Bird, 'Senara' built in 1995 by L Pezzack, 'Idas' built in 1997 again by Ralph Bird, ‘Dolphin’ built in 1968 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, 'Verbena' built in 2005 by Brian Pomeroy of Dartmouth and 'Falcon' built in 1998 by Andrew Nancarrow of Bissoe.
