Description
David George interviews Robert Hilder at the Newquay County Gig Championships in September 2018. He talks about building boats, rowing 15 foot skiffs and rowing 18 foot flash boats. He recounts his experience of rowing Cornish Pilot Gig ‘Unity’ which they nicknamed ‘Black Pig’ because it was so heavy and slow and about Michael Galloway building ‘Saracen’ at Penryn .
