Description

Tabb's Hotel in Fore Street, Redruth. As well as a hotel, it served as a base for 'mine ticketing' (ore sales), had a dance floor and an arcade of shops, and was used for many public occasions. The cessation of hostilities at the end of World War II was announced from the balcony. It was demolished in 1968 to make way for a Tesco supermarket.
