Description
Ernestine Oliver, later Mrs. Kenneth Gray, serving at her father's egg stall in Redruth Market. Mr Oliver had a 'National Mark Egg Packing Station' at Little Bargus, Perranwell Station. The National Mark was introduced to standardise the quality and grading of home produced eggs and was superseded by the British Egg Marketing Board, which had a lion mark on each egg.
