Description

Cornish Pilot Gigs in the harbour at St Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly. Among those pictured are 'Good Intent' built in 1975 by Tom Chudleigh of St Mary’s, named after a historic Newquay fish cellar, ‘Dolphin’ built in 1968 also by Tom Chudleigh, ‘Men-A-Vaur’ built in 1983 by Gerald Pearn of Looe, ‘Active’ built in 1974 again by Tom Chudleigh, ‘Bonnet’ built in 1830 by the Peters family of St Mawes and ‘Nornour’ built in 1971 again by Gerald Pearn.
