Chris Hitchings standing beside Cornish Pilot Gig 'William Peters' built in 1987 by Ralph Bird of Devoran, named after the renowned 19th Century boatbuilder from St Mawes. The poly tunnel is in the garden of Waterloo House at St Mawes where winter maintenance was carried out.
