Description

Wreck of ketch "Star of Scilly 2. The Star of Scilly was a ketch, a nimble craft with both masts rigged fore-and-aft for manoeuvrability. However, while anchored during bad weather en route home to Scilly, from Cardiff, a northerly gale pulled it onto Porthminster point and there it broke up, as seen here from the beach.
