Description

Bessie The steamer Bessie and some of her crew (3 men and a boy),at the North Quay of Hayle. The Bessie was built in Hayle by Harveys in 1865, and regularly crossed between Hayle, Bristol and South Wales, carrying coal. In the background you can see Lelant church and the dunes.
