Back row: 2nd left, former mayor Mr J.H. Adams. Mayor and Mayoress Mr. W. Reed Johns and Mrs. Johns. Front row: left to right, Mr. A.K Hamilton-Jenkin, author of several books on cornwall, originally from redruth but lived at the then poldhu hotel where his wife was the manageress. The lade on the left is Mrs J.H. Adams, former mayoress. The ladeies on the extreme right in the front are Miss Alina Hendy, Mrs Manning and poossibly Mrs Harvey.
